An IPod Touch for Michael who uses FaceTime to communicate with family members

Posted Aug 4, 2017
Michael recently had his IPod stolen out of his backpack at school. Michael needs an IPod Touch so that he can FaceTime with his brother. Michael's brother, who is in another foster home, is deaf and unable to communicate on the phone normally, so Michael likes to FaceTime him so that they can sign and so that his brother can read Michael's lips.

Michael is 17 years old and lives in Willamina, OR

Michael is a sophomore and is an all-star athlete and student. Michael just got all A's for this last semester and he plays Football, Basketball and Baseball year round. Michael is a very sweet young man who puts his family first. Michael recently lost his foster mother to heart failure and has had to take on a lot of responsibility in his home and grow up a little faster so that he can help care for his siblings and dad. He is hopeful to finish school and go to University of Oregon and become a Duck!
